01/2009 Las Vegas, NV – 2009 International Robotic Urology Symposium – Dr. Miller lectured on robot assisted tubal reanastomosis and participated in the robotic hysterectomy debate.
02/2009 Israel – Israeli Annual Congress of Gynecological Endoscopy – Dr. Miller lectured on “Physician Education in Minimally Invasive Surgery”, Laparoscopic Myomectomy” and participated in the debate – “Intramural Fibroids in the Infertile Patient (Pro)”. Dr. Miller also performed surgery while in Israel (laparoscopic myomectomy) at the Rabin Medical Center for the conference participants.
03/2009 Thailand – XVIII Annual Congress of the International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy (ISGE) – Dr. Miller was elected Vice President of the ISGE. Dr. Miller lectured on “Fibroids By Laparoscopy – medical, radiologic and surgical treatment”. Dr. Miller was also the Chairman of the keynote lecture – “20 Years Making – Laparoscopic Hysterectomy”
04/2009 Belgrade, Serbia – Advanced Course of Laparoscopic Surgery in Gynecology – University of Belgrade School of Medicine. Dr. Miller lectured on the following: supracervical hysterectomy vs. total hysterectomy – what is the verdict, state of the art in fibroid treatment and what lies down the road and laparoscopic myomectomy.
04/2009 Izmir, Turkey – Third Annual Congress of the Turkish Society of Gynecological Endoscopy – Dr. Miller served as the chair of the “The Power of Office Operative Hysteroscopy” symposium. Dr. Miller also lectured on laparoscopic myomectomy and ultrasonic technology on gynecological laparoscopy and performed live surgery (laparoscopic myomectomy).
05/2009 Brisbane, Australia – AAGL 3rd International congress on Minimally Invasive Gynecology in conjunction with the Australian Gynecological Endoscopy Society XIX Annual Scientific Meeting – Sex, Surgery and Gynecology – Dr. Miller will be lecturing on “Fibroids – Fertility Implications and Management Options”.
