Moya Laskowski, RN, BSN Clinical Manager
"At the Advanced IVF Institute, our staff of dedicated nurses seek to meet your needs, from the emotional to the physical. We understand the challenges you are facing, and it is the goal of our nurses and support staff to lead you through these challenges by offering their vast knowledge, understanding, and compassion." |
Our nurses, certified medical assistants and certified surgical technicians are highly trained and experienced in the reproductive health field. Your day-to-day treatment will be coordinated by a member of our nursing team. In addition to providing hands-on care, the nurse serves as a liaison between the patient and the rest of the care team, including our embryologists, lab technicians and ultrasonographers. The clinical staff is here to educate, guide, and provide support while demonstrating patience, understanding and empathy.

Many of our nurses have obtained advanced degrees and several are certified in reproductive health. Our nursing staff represents over 200 years of experience. This level of training and experience has resulted in a staff that is totally committed to providing our patients every possible option to achieve pregnancy. They are one of the reasons our practice is so successful.
Fertility Team
Our nurses will take the time to answer all questions and insure patients fully understand and are comfortable with their treatment plan. They will draw your blood in the morning, review your ultrasound with you, do your insemination and call you with your results. They are great listeners, educators and truly know what it means to want to have children. They are here to help patients as they move through the treatment process. Very quickly, patients realize just how much they care.

IVF Coordinators
After it has been determined that a couple needs in vitro fertilization (IVF) they will meet with an IVF coordinator. Coordinators are highly trained in the treatment of infertility using Assisted Reproductive Technologies or ART. They will explain the entire IVF process in detail from pre-cycle testing through the retrieval and transfer process. The coordinators are the primary contact and resource for IVF patients, and they will continue working with the patient all the way through the IVF cycle and after conception. Our coordinators understand the "infertility roller coaster." They know you are learning a new vocabulary and rearranging your schedule to accommodate the demands of work-up and treatment all during what may be the most stressful time of your life. They are uniquely qualified and extremely dedicated to helping couples realize their dream of giving birth to a healthy child.

"Our staff consists of experienced clinicians - and very special people. They don't consider work as just a "job", but more of a mission. They feel honored to play a role in such a significant part of a couple's life. They are compassionate and caring during the process, and are thrilled with each and every birth announcement and picture we receive."
